Committee Updates
- Architectural
- 2 tickets but nothing outstanding.
- May be worth revisiting guidelines and sharing out.
- Garage door ticket approved and closed, but chain link fence one is still open for now, waiting for response. Also fence on property line—will wait for response on that item as well.
- Playground and Common Grounds
- Baby swings need replacement. Already ordered and arrived, but we do not have the correct tool to replace it. Two people are now on the committee and working through the to-do list. Should pass info on to post on the website. Might possibly have a third.Quote for steps: around $3k. Recommend a DIY job. Perhaps a post at the bottom and post at the top with a rope or building own steps.Poison Ivy: quote to remove: 75 an hour to remove via spray. 3 hours minimum, may take 4. Some contention about spraying due to impact on nature but ultimately decided kids’ welfare was important and impact on nature would be minimal with just one annual spraying.Replacement nets for basketball hoops ordered and arrived, will be put up soon.Miss Utility will mark spots for signs, then we can put them in.Will talk about new mulch and replacement for swirly slide soon—will want to create a poll once we narrow down the options for a replacement. Need to think about the waste removal as well.
- Will also need to consider the pathway since it needs some TLC. We could put out a FB poll to see what people think. Get quotes and go from there.
- Private Streets
- Nothing new to report
- Newsletter
- Update newsletter and send to Sonata for final review.
Tickets
- To work about tree situation on Moon Rock. Need to follow up.
- Will write letter to owner about the house complaint on Bedrock; will follow up with complainer to make sure he knows we are acting on it.
- Lichen and Bedrock mulch piles still exist. Lichen one is in a pipestem, which means it may private street issue. We will need to check the property records to see if it belongs to anyone. If it does not, it will fall to pipestem funds to remove the pile (they currently have $5500). Connor will work on a draft.
- Vantage overgrown yard complaint (7113). May be abandoned. Should standardize language for reaching out. Connor will work with Angela and draft something up to share. Also a Flintstone overgrown yard complaint; looks abandoned but is not. Will also want to send a letter to this address.
- Bike lane issue is closed. Survey results are available online. 84% in favor of not making any changes.
- Responded to dog barking complaint and no communication since.
- Mulch pile on Bedrock is almost gone.
Carl Sell meeting upcoming.
